Weclome to Jay's Milwaukee Institute Web Pages.

Here you will find a few personal opinions (not necessarily shared by others at the Institute!) and links to various and sundry topics, from blog posts to a knowedge base containing graphics (png, jpg, etc.), documents (docx, pdf, etc.) document, and Wolfram Mathematica "Computable Documents" containing domonstration code.

This site is dedicated to discussing and demonstrating aspects of technical computing, a discipline critical to the effective design, implementation and support of "intelligent products" whose function and behavior are increasingly governed by(embedded) software.

Note: At the Institute we define technical computing as the application of computational science and technology to the modeling, simulation, visualization and data analytics of complex science and engineering problems.  We are especially interested in supporting collaborative multi-disciplinary and multi-organizational approaches that address regional "grand challenge" problems in domains such as life science and healthcare, advanced manufacturing, fresh water science and energy management.
