July 7, 2009 - Today's edition of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel includes an article introducing the Menomonee Valley Data Center (MVDC) project. The MVDC, in addition to providing sufficient high-quality and energy-efficient space for hosting the region's private information systems, is a key element in the development of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Information Grid (MGrid). The MVDC will include shared high-performance computing systems and services as an integral part of the Milwaukee Institute's MGrid effort to create an integrated Southeast Wisconsin cyberinfrastructure.   (view article)
