ACM (the Association for Computing Machinery) has named 84 of its members as Distinguished Members in recognition of their individual contributions to both the practical and theoretical aspects of computing and information technology. Jay Bayne, Executive Director of the Milwaukee Institute, was named one of 17 Distinuished Engineers. Dr. Bayne is a Senior Member of ACM. ACM's announcment may be found here.
