Apil 17, 2009 - The Milwaukee Institute announced today that, with the assistance of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee (UWM) LIGO Project team, it has installed Condor High Throughput Computing (HTC) software on its High Performance Computer (HPC, hpc01.mkei.org) cluster. With Condor, hpc01 is now part of the LIGO grid running BOINC software supporting the global Einstein@Home effort to search for gravitational waves using data from ground-based detectors (laser interferometers) located in Hanford, WA, Livingston, LA and Hannover, Germany.
