June 17, 2009 - The Milwaukee Institute announced today that Mr. Rocky Marcoux, City of Milwaukee Development Commissioner, has been appointed to the Institute's Board of Directors. Mr. Marcoux's appointment reflects the City's support for the Institute's mission of improving scientific research, economic development and education initiatives through advancing the region's cyberinfrastructure. At the same time, his appointment reflects the Institute's commitment to working closely with city, county and state government agencies on behalf of regional economic development and education initiatives.
