Institute Policy Center
The Institute's Policy Center is the forum for proposing, discussing, documenting and presenting the role, impact and necessary guidelines for regional development of science, research and technology development, cyberinfrastructure and education on economic development initiatives for the SE Wisconsin and the Great Lakes region.
The goal of the Institute's public policy initiatives is to encourage continuous improvements in the infrastructure required for high technology research and development, including establishment of virtual research "centers of excellence," policies that will increase the amount of governmental and philanthropic funding for dedicated research and local research centers, and that will promote better math and science educational programs across the entire educational spectrum. Finally, the Institute seeks to foster through its website, programs, symposia and other promotional efforts the broadest possible access to high technology research infrastructure by all interested participants in academia, business and government, as well as the community at large.
A Policy Document Library will be published here soon...
